The move follows the recent signing of a visa agreement between the two countries. Under the agreement, Finnish citizens will be able to visit Estonia for up to 90 days in a 180 day period without needing to obtain a visa. Travellers will also be able to stay for up to 30 days in each of Estonia’s three federal states – Valga, Tartu and Narva – without having to apply for a visa separately.

Estonia views this agreement as an important step in enhancing travel between the two countries. The country hopes that it will help promote tourism and trade ties between the two nations.

This revised visa policy is available to all Finnish citizens, regardless of their nationality or residency status. It is also open to holders of valid Schengen visas who are travelling on to Estonia for recreational purposes only.
