In order to maintain a positive relationship with other countries, Canada allows certain countries to enter the country without obtaining a visa. This program is called the CANADA VISA. In this article, I am going to discuss Canada’s CANADA VISA and how people who are citizens of these two countries can get a CANADA VISA. Also discussed is how a person becomes a citizen of one of these countries if they have not previously been born there.
What is a Visa?

To get a Canadian visa, you will need to go to an Embassy or Consulate of Canada in your home country and apply for one. If you are travelling to Canada for business purposes, you will likely need to obtain a Business Visa. This type of visa is more complicated to obtain than a tourist visa and requires documentation such as proof of income and investment worth over C$10,000 CAD (approximately $8,500 USD).
If you are travelling to Canada for pleasure purposes only, or if you have permanent resident status in another country, you may be eligible for a Temporary Resident Visa without having to go through the application process.
How do I apply for a Visa?
There are two ways to apply for a Canadian visa:
- Through the Canadian embassy or consulate in your home country.

Before you start applying, be sure to gather the following information:

How much does it cost?
It is no secret that obtaining a Canadian visa can be expensive. This is especially true if you are applying for a tourist visa. For citizens of Norway, the cost for a standard Canadian tourist visa is C$60 (USD47). Citizens of Czech Republic can expect to pay around CZK1,000 (USD56) for a standard Canadian tourist visa.
What can I expect from a Visa?
A Canadian visa is a travel document that allows citizens of certain countries to visit, work, study or stay for an extended period of time in Canada.
To obtain a Canadian visa, you will need to provide proof of your identity, citizenship and current residence in your country of origin. In addition, you will need to provide evidence that you have enough money to support yourself while in Canada and that you do not pose a security risk.
You may also be required to undergo a health check and/or an interview at the Canadian embassy or consulate in your home country. Once you have received your visa, make sure to bring all of the appropriate documentation with you when traveling to Canada.

If your passport has at least six months remaining validity, it will be accepted as valid for travel to Canada. If your passport is less than six months expired, you will need to obtain an electronic travel permit before travelling to Canada.
