The Indian government has announced that the 5-year visa will be extended to the spouse and minor children of an Indian citizen. The announcement was made on Friday by Minister of Home Affairs, Rajnath Singh, after a meeting with Ministry officials.

The main purpose of the 5-year visa is to facilitate family reunions and allow for long-term visits by close relatives. The 5-year visa will also be available to senior citizens and differently-abled persons.

The government has also announced that an “emergency” visa will be available for those who need to travel to India urgently, such as in the case of a medical emergency. If you are looking to travel to India, you will need to obtain a visa. There are two types of visas available for travelers to India: the regular tourist visa and the emergency tourist visa. The regular tourist visa is valid for one year and allows you to stay in India for up to 90 days at a time. The emergency tourist visa is valid for six months and allows you to stay in India for up to 30 days at a time. If you are planning on staying in India for more than 90 days, you will need to apply for a long-term visa.

URGENT EMERGENCY INDIAN VISA

If you need to travel to India urgently for any emergency, you can apply for an Indian Visa on Arrival ( Emergency ). This is a special type of visa which allows you to enter India within 48 hours of applying for it. You will need to produce proof of your emergency situation at the time of applying for the visa.

If you are planning to travel to India for business purposes, then you will need to apply for a Business Visa. This type of visa allows you to stay in India for up to 6 months at a time. 3. STUDENT VISA

If you are planning to travel to India for study purposes, then you will need to apply for a Student Visa. This type of visa allows you to stay in India for the duration of your course. You will need to provide proof of your enrolment in an Indian educational institution at the time of applying for the visa.

How to Apply for an Indian Visa

If you are a foreign national planning to visit India, you will need to apply for an Indian visa. The process of applying for an Indian visa is relatively simple and can be done entirely online.

First, you will need to create an account on the official website of the Government of India’s e-Visa program. Once you have created an account, you will be able to log in and fill out the online application form.

The application form will ask for basic personal information such as your name, date of birth, and passport details. You will also need to upload a recent passport-style photograph.

Once you have completed the online application form, you will need to pay the visa fee using a credit or debit card. After your payment has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your visa attached as a PDF document.

You can then print out your visa and bring it with you when you travel to India. It is important to note that your visa must be used within 60 days of issue, and it will allow you to stay in India for up to 90 days from the date of entry.

Their respective processing time and validity

There are two types of visas for India – the regular visa and the emergency visa. The regular visa can be obtained from your local Indian consulate or embassy, and takes around 4-6 weeks to process. The emergency visa can be obtained from the Indian High Commission in London, and takes around 2-3 days to process.
